Edmond's Largest Charitable 5K is BACK!

September 23, 2023 | 8:30 AM | Downtown Edmond

Our goal this year is to have over 1,500 runners and to donate $250,000!

Support us by joining the race or becoming a sponsor. Sponsors and race participants have the opportunity to vote for one of the 8 named charities to receive the funds raised through the Run. Money will be distributed on a pro-rata basis based on the number of votes each charity receives.

Introduced by Keller Williams in 2009, RED Day, which stands for Renew, Energize and Donate, is a day to give back to the community. In 2015, Keller Williams Central Oklahoma celebrated RED Day with an annual 5K Run to raise money for local charities. Last year, we gave out $225,000 to our selected charities!

To date, over $1,121,500 has been raised and distributed by the RED Day Run!

Charities

The RED DAY RUN works a little differently than most runs. When you register, you have the chance to vote for the charity you're most moved by. Those votes are tallied and the money raised is distributed on a pro-rata basis. MOST VOTES = MOST MONEY! Check out the amazing local charities below.

Halo Project

HALO Project was created in 2013 out of a need expressed by Oklahoma foster and adoptive parents. Parents were tired, frustrated, confused and ready to quit. Traditional parenting methods and counseling settings were not proving to be successful. To meet this need, the HALO Program was created to heal to foster and adoptive families. Due to our success, we became our own 501(c)3 in December of 2016 and have an average of over 70 families on the waitlist at any given time and serve 240 families each week.

OKC Dream Center

The Oklahoma City Dream Center exists to reach, rescue, and restore people isolated by poverty in Edmond & OKC by meeting basic needs, preventative programs for at-risk kids and youth, relationships and referrals through our Community Resource Center, and our Dream Living Transitional Program for men.
